1. Who is RE Driver Development for?
RE Driver Development is for karting drivers who want to improve their performance, understanding, and progression. From beginners to competitive race drivers. Parents of young drivers are also closely involved.
2. What level of drivers do you work with?
I work with a wide range of levels: beginners, club racers, national competitors and international drivers. Each session is tailored to the driver’s current level and goals.
3. How does the Online Academy work?
The Academy is built around focused steps and individual sessions. There are no subscriptions or fixed trajectories. We only work on what truly adds value at that moment.
4. Why are there no subscriptions or long-term contracts?
Because every driver develops differently. Fixed programs often waste time and money. This Academy is designed to stay flexible, efficient, and results-focused.
5. What is the Explore Session?
The Explore Session is a free 20-minute online call where we get to know each other, discuss goals, and decide what the smartest next step is.
6. Is the Explore Session really free?
Yes. The Explore Session is completely free and without obligation.
7. Do I have to start with the Explore Session?
It’s recommended, but not mandatory. Some drivers with clear goals or data prefer to start directly with STEP X.
8. What is STEP X – Data & Footage Analysis?
STEP X is a 1-on-1 session where we analyze onboard footage or data to improve lap time, consistency, and training focus. It’s the most direct performance tool in the Academy.
9. What do I need for STEP X sessions?
Onboard footage is required. Telemetry data is optional but helpful if available.
10. Are the sessions live or recorded?
All sessions are live, 1-on-1, via Google Meet. Sessions are not pre-recorded.
11. Are the sessions online or on track?
The Academy sessions are fully online. Track support and real-life coaching are offered separately when available.
12. Can drivers under 18 join the Academy?
Yes. For drivers under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved and give consent. This ensures realistic planning, budgeting, and clear expectations.
13. Do you work with parents as well?
Absolutely. Karting is a team effort. Especially for young drivers, working together with parents is essential for progress and long-term development.
14. How does payment work?
Sessions are paid per session or per package. Invoices are sent in advance, and sessions are confirmed after payment is received.
15. What is the goal of the Academy?
The goal is not just speed, but understanding: driving technique, racecraft, strategy, decision-making, and long-term progression, both on and off track.
16. Can the Academy help with sponsors and career planning?
Yes. STEP 4 – Finance & Sponsors 101 focuses on positioning, social media presence, and how to approach sponsors realistically and professionally.
